Salt House is A 75-seat, contemporary restaurant housed in an old printing press built in the late 1890's. Exposed brick, original hardwood floors, 12 foot windows and over sized rusted iron girders. Contemporary American food ranging from raw bar plateaus, appetizers and heartier main dishes. We serve wines from the new and old world as well as an extensive cocktail list. A full menu anywhere is available anywhere in the restaurant including the bar, communal table, and front window.

Reservationist

Stock and Bones, the restaurant group responsible for Salt House, Town Hall and Anchor and Hope, is seeking a part time reservationist. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills to book reservations, answer busy phones and complete light office work. Experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry is a plus and the right candidate must have the ability to genuinely interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner. This position provides great hands-on experience in the hospitality field. Proficiency with Open Table is also a plus. A successful culinary group in San Francisco is actively seeking a PM line cook. This is a full time position.
Hands-on, fast paced cooking environment with seasonally changing menus produced fresh daily. Must be a strong team player with a desire to excel, possess good knife skills and positive energy and attitude. Strong work ethic and passion for cooking a must.
Minimum 1 to 2 years moderate to high volume fine dining cooking experience required. Equivalent training via an accredited culinary institute will also suffice. Experience cooking fish and/or meat proteins is sought for this position. Competitive wages for motivated cooks.
